After the technologized the field farmers are able to do their farming easily and had a good product. With the invention of agricultural machine, manpower which is used for farming became less than before and doing work more efficiently. Current mechanized agriculture includes the use of tractors, trucks, combine harvesters, countless types of farm implements, aero planes and helicopters and other vehicles. There are some innovations in water supply such as solar water pump micro sprinkler. These systems pump water to fields with more efficiently and it helps to saves water also.

Information technology has contributed significantly for the development of agriculture.

Under information technology, there are lots of innovations such as weather forecasting, technology in greenhouse, use of GIS in agriculture and mobile apps for agriculture. Electronic devices and technology can be used to better agriculture. In this part, there are innovations under automation devices and data gathering and analysis. Combine harvester, drip irrigation, self-driving tractors and better storage facilities are main devices under automation devices.

Under data gathering and analysis there are some innovations like satellite imagery, airborne remote sensing and using analytical methods. Robotic technology effects agriculture in different applications. Agricultural robot is a one of the main application. Seeding and planting, protect plant before harvesting, weed control, harvesting and picking are robots used in agriculture. There is a lot of advantages of using robots for agriculture, but there are few disadvantages also using robots. Throughout history, scientific and technological advances have greatly impacted the agriculture industry.

In modern days, scientists do their researchers to find new inventions about agricultures. They found new ways of farming, found new inventions spreads new ideas.

Agricultural Machinery

Agricultural machinery is machinery used in farming or other agriculture. There are many types of such equipment, from hand tools and power tools to tractors and the countless kinds of farm implements that they tow or operate. Diverse arrays of equipment are used in both organic and non-organic farming. Especially since the advent of mechanized agriculture, agricultural machinery is an indispensable part of how the world is fed.

Current mechanized agriculture includes the use of tractors, trucks, combine harvesters, countless types of farm implements, aero planes and helicopters (for aerial applications) and other vehicles. Precision agriculture even uses computers in conjunction with satellite imagery and satellite navigation (GPS guidance) to increase yields. Mechanization was one of the large factors responsible for urbanization and industrial economies. Besides improving production efficiency, mechanization encourages large scale production and sometimes can improve the quality of farm produce. On the other hand, it can displace unskilled farm labor and can cause environmental degradation (such as pollution, deforestation and soil erosion), especially if it is applied shortsightedly rather than holistically. The global Agricultural Machinery and Farm Equipment Directory aims to provide a focal point for all those with an interest in the mechanization of agriculture, encompassing hand tools, animal traction and engine driven machinery. It includes an international directory of agricultural machinery manufacturers converting agricultural machinery and farm equipment including used tractors, replacement parts, used machinery, combine harvesters, cultivation equipment planters, grain storage, finance, tractor insurance, jobs, news, tractor credit, machinery loans and much more.

Farm Machinery

Farm machinery, mechanical devices, including tractors and implements, used in farming to save labor. Farm machines include a great variety of devices with a wide range of complexity: from simple hand-held implements used since prehistoric times to the complex harvesters of modern mechanized agriculture. The operations of farming for which machines are used are diverse. For Crop Production they include handling of residues from previous crops; primary and secondary tillage of the soil; fertilizer distribution and application; seeding, planting, and transplanting; cultivation; pest control; harvesting; transportation; storage; premarketing processing; drainage; irrigation and erosion control; and water conservation. Now uses many complicated and highly sophisticated machines for handling water, feed, bedding, and manure, as well as for the many special operations involved in producing milk and eggs.

New technology

Agricultural technology, application of techniques to control he growth and harvesting of animal and vegetable products. Tillage is the manipulation of the soil into a desired condition by mechanical means; tools are employed to achieve some desired effect (such as pulverization, cutting or movement.) The basic technology of agricultural machines has changed little in the last century. However, technology is changing the way that humans operate the machines, as computer monitoring systems, GPS locators and self-steer programs allow the most advanced tractors and implements to be more precise and less wasteful in the use of fuel, seed or fertilizer. In the foreseeable future, there may be mass production of driverless tractors, which use GPS maps and electronic sensors. Modern engineering along with tractors and new machinery has shifted the farming industry to one of efficiency and mass production. Let’s take a look at 6 modern machines that dramatically increased the efficiency and production of farming operations across the globe.

  • Automatic in Row Weedier. Pesticides and weedicides are common, but many take issue with the possibly harmful chemicals hidden within. As a result, the Robocop in Row Weedier was designed to quickly and effectively tear up weeds without worrying about hurting the original crops.
  • Olive Harvester. Now farmers use an oliv harvesting machine which shakes the tree, releasing the olives and collecting them in one centralized location.
  •  Automatic Cow Milking Machine
  • Small-scale Potato Harvester
  • Robotic Lettuce Harvester
  • Carrot Harvester and Separator

These machines are only a touch into the variety of high-efficiency farming machines. The biggest fear with this scale of automation is a loss in jobs, creating an economy that is poised on skilled labor. While these innovations are amazing, the world will have to face the problem of skyrocketing unemployment in the future as automation like seen in the farming industry hits the rest of the workforce.

Tractor Tractor, high-power, low speed traction vehicle and power unit mechanically similar to an automobile or truck but designed for use off the road. Modern tractors are powered by internal-combustion engines running on gasoline, paraffin, LPG, diesel fuel.

Water Supply Innovation

Solar Water Pump

Solar pumping system converts solar energy into electric energy. It drives motors to drive water pumps to pump water from the water sources. This system is run by solar panels, solar pump inverter and water pump. Solar panels give DC current as output. Solar pump inverter converts DC current into AC current because the water pump activates under AC power supply. There is various AC motor water pump such as irrigation pump, deep ell water pump, centrifugal pump and etc. The input can be the solar DC power supply, also can be AC power supply, built in MPPT control system to maximize the output power of the PV array (photovoltaic array), is very suitable for use in remote and dry areas.

VEICHI SI series solar water pump inverter is a high efficiency solar water pump controller which can make full use of solar energy to dive water pumps for agricultural irrigation, water supply system, fountains, ground water lowering and etc. As the solar water pumping system is eco-friendly. This solar water pump system brings solutions for many problems which appeared in the past.

Micro Sprinkler

Micro sprinklers use to provide irrigation using very fine droplets and generate humidity in green houses. It has a rotating deflector (rotor or dancer), which helps to cover a higher diameter and lower precipitation rate than the diffusers, increased droplet size. This sprinkler head made of small LDPE pipe with height 5 to 8 cm and diameter 8 to 12 mm. It has 1mm nozzles around the pipe, 5mm away from the end caps. In the center of the pipe insert a micro tube pin connector of 4.4 mm. This unit is connected to 1 m long tube through the pin connector. The sprinkler head is fixed vertically near the plants and keep away certain distance from other sprinklers. But there are types of micro sprinklers which have different heads. Sprinklers are adjustable for change coverage and change drops size. Micro sprinkler projects water on tiny water jets. This method saves water more than other methods such as channel web and water release directly from pipe.

  • Required pressure : 0.3 to 1.0 kg/cm2
  • Coverage : 3.0 to 5.0 sq. m.
  • Lifetime : about 8 to 10 years
