Impact of Transport on Global Warming

Categories: Global Warming

Everybody was beginning to live far away from their workplace but still commute daily. Better Configuration of transportation account for this growing trends around the world. Both public and private transport is improving. Many people use public transportation such as public busses, while others choose to drive their own vehicles. These two forms of transport have many differences, but they also have many similarities.
Busses and cars are both models of transportation, and they both will get you from A to B.

They both allow people to work more farther away from their homes, and still get there and back comparatively easily. Both are also common across the world and are always available .
Despite their many similarities, busses and self-owned cars have many disparate differences. One difference is the convenience. It is not convenient that people have to spend some time and wait for the bus or subway. Most of the time at rush hour for commuters, are really sufferable to wait for a longer time.

And sometimes they have to transfer to another bus-line or subway. In contrast to taking public transportation, driving private car is more convenient. Because people can just buckle up and start the car to go to anywhere they want. Private cars are generally more comfortable than busses and you are promised a seat in your car opposed to a bus which may be full of people. Another benefit of driving your own car is that you can park exactly anywhere you want opposed to a bus which only stops at designated places.

Cars can also be faster than busses as you do not have to stop at bus stops and the average speed of busses are lower than cars. Cars can also follow a straighter path than busses and can take highways unlike busses. You can also take road trips or move stuff in your car, unlike a bus.
Busses have benefits too though. Busses are of course usually cheaper than cars over the long run. If you own a car you have to pay for gas, parking, a mechanic, tolls and other costs; none of them issues apply when riding the bus. You can take a bus from anywhere; you can’t use your car if you left it at home. You don’t need to worry about a place to park when you get somewhere, this can be a very big help if you live in a very large city like New York city or Los Angeles. A problem with busses is that you don’t have any privacy, which you would have in your car. Also, the public transportation vehicles are environmentally friendly.
They hold many people at a sitting. If everyone uses their own cars, there would be chaos in traffic jam. There will be a decrease in pollution in exhaust fumes in relation to the decrease in the vehicles in traffic. Therefore, it will be less dangerous for global warming. The usage of public transportation will decrease the emission of exhaust fumes per capita to the minimum level. Another difference for a bus and a car is other people on the bus that might smell or a situation of any kind can happen while in your private car, you don’t have to worry about that. In your car, you can blast music that you like and don’t have to worry about others complaining about it because you are by yourself. Both models of transports have positives and negatives. I think that sometimes a car would be more useful and other times a bus would be more convenient in different situations.
